What Did Kobe Bryant Mean To Kenyans in America? African Warrior Magazine Wants Your Feedback


Celebrated Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant died on Sunday following a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. His daughter Gianna and seven other passangers perished in the crash too.

Kobe Bryant’s name transcended basketball. Because of what he did on the court, he became a household name easily recognized all over the world. His mamba mentality was rued by opponents because it was this venom that obliterated opposing teams, while winning multiple championships for the Los Angeles Lakers.

There are thousands of Kenyans in America Diaspora and since basketball is one of the most followed sports in the country, African Warrior Magazine seeks feedback from Kenyans in America on what Kobe meant to them and lessons to draw from his death.
