Uhuru was spotted with ‘Salt Bae’ in Dubai


President Uhuru Kenyatta was recently spotted hanging out Nusret Gokce in Dubai. Many of you I know will be wondering who is Nusret, he is famous for the Salt Bae video that took the world by storm after he was recorded practicing his skills in roasting and salting meat in style.

The video attracted salt bae challenge from all over the globe Chef Nusret posted an image of himself and the President on his instagram page in a jovial mood with a caption reading “The President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta. You are on top.”

The internet sensation who bragged of his new found buddy runs a chain of steak houses under the Nusr-Et brand and is also a trained butcher.

President Kenyatta has been in China where he attended the Africa-China Cooperation Forum where the head of state sought for more funding from the Chinese government for projects in Kenya including the completion of the Standard Gauge Railway. China promised to offer Africa sh6 trillion to its development kitty.

Kenyans have been waiting for the President to return to the country in order to give directions on the way forward in regards to the 16 per cent VAT imposed on petroleum products which took effect on September 1.

All eyes are on him to see whether he will sign into law the 2018 Finance Bill passed by parliament to delay the 16 per cent VAT proposal until the year 2020.
