Kenyans last week woke up to a series of fake news that ANC leader and NASA co-principle Musalia Mudavadi has left NASA.
A fake letter was being shared all over social media stating that Mudavadi has resigned from NASA and wouldn’t be involved in the campaigns.
It’s the same week which also saw former Meru Governor Peter Munya and Bomet’s Issac Ruto ditch the coalition and join Jubilee Party.
But what’s shocking about the letter that actually fooled many, was that they used a very prominent signature claiming it’s Mudavadi’s.
The impostors used Marilyn Monroe signature.
Marilyn Monroe was one of the most glamorous and sought-after stars of her time.
Monroe was an American actress and model. Famous for playing comic “dumb blonde” characters, she became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and was emblematic of the era’s attitudes towards sexuality.
She died in 1962 but more than half a century after her death, she continues to be considered a major popular culture icon
