Search For Gift Mumbi Kamau Ends In Grief As Body Recovered From the Mississippi

Gift Mumbi Kamau, a third-year student at the Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri, has been missing since Thursday, March 30, 2017.  She is the daughter of Sammy and Catherine Kamau of Florissant, Missouri.

Sadly though for the family, the search has come to an end.  According to the family, Gift’s body was recovered from the Mississippi this Mothers’ Day weekend. Her gold-colored Toyota Corolla was spotted near the bridge in Madison County Thursday afternoon. According to media reports, Kamau waited for a moment inside the car and then proceeded to walk toward the Missouri-end of the bridge.

Gift has two younger siblings – a little sister and a little brother. They will miss her terribly.

The family is seeking your support and has set up a GOFUNDME Account to fund raise for funeral expenses.
