Rihanna Works With Kenya’s Elsa Majimbo In Her Fenty Beauty Campaign


19-year-old Kenyan comedian Elsa Majimbo has landed a lucrative deal after she was selected to work with Rihanna’s team for her Fenty Beauty campaign.

Taking to her social media pages, Majimbo revealed that she was indeed proud to be part of the project.

“My 19-year-old self literally got a chance to work with @FentyOfficial. I’m so proud!!!! Thanking the Fenty fam they’ve been so amazing and Rihanna for this amazing brand!” she wrote

In a video shared by FENTY’s official page, Majimbo uses her comical skills to market a variety of Rihanna’s Sunglasses as she jokes about being the American star’s best friend.

“I wear Fenty! Me and Rihanna are practically childhood friends. You call her Rihanna, I call her best friend” she stated in the video

In yet another caption she wrote as she shared the Fenty campaign video on her timeline, Majimbo thanks Rihanna’s team for giving her the role and going even further to post in on their platform.

“Just a @FENTY campaign for my best friend @badgalriri. Rihanna doesn’t necessarily know that we are bff’s, but that’s okay, she will one day. Thank you to the fam at @FENTY for believing in my vision.” she added

Being on such a platform counts as a major milestone in her career considering that Rihanna has such a huge following and influence. Her cosmetics brand Fenty is believed to have generated a total of Ksh10 billion in sales in its first few weeks after its launch in 2017.
