A picture of a minister kneeling before the president while having a conversation has evoked a wild rollercoaster of emotions on social media.
Zambian Minister of Livestock and Fisheries, Michael Katambo, was pictured Kneeling before his President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu while having a rather serious conversation. It’s not clear whether the president was scolding the man or just giving him instructions.
The photo immediately went viral on social media leading to different reactions.
Lungu and Katambo have now become an internet sensation across the continent that even Fikile Mbalula, South African minister of sports, had to react.
“Zambia’s president holding discussions with his livestock minister. No seat for him, not even kneeling,” Mbalula wrote.
Lungu appointed Katambo, a former lawmaker, in September.
