Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is mourning the passing away of one of his employees following a night fire that gutted his club in Buru Buru Phase 2.
The Tuesday, September 5 mysterious night fire destroyed Governor Sonko’s Casaurina club and in its wake, claimed the life of one of the employees only identified as Kilunda by the Governor.
The Governor on his social media pages said mourn the 45-year-old employee:
”I serve a very faithful God. My God never lets me down. RIP Kilunda.”
A fire engine rushed there but could not salvage much as the fire had by then burnt a huge part of the restaurant.
Police say they found the body of the man long after the fire had been contained as investigations continue to establish the source.
Some Kenyans reckon the cartels that the governor has been trying to get rid off are responsible for the incident.
The city governor vowed to get rid of people who had turned the city hall into their personal cash cow.
