On Thanksgiving day, Chaplin Ngethe, a Kenyan living in California sent his dad-Arthur Ngethe- a warm Thanksgiving text. He signed off with “Love you always.” Chaplin did not get a reply that day. Little did he know that the reply will never come as his dad died on November 23rd.
Arthur Ngethe lived in Baltimore, Maryland. His other son, Harrison Ngethe lives in Texas.
The family is reaching out to the community of Kenyans in America for assistance in raising funds to support the family with funeral expenses which includes transportation of the body to his preferred final resting place-Kenya.
