Kenyan DJ Finally Home After Days Of Being Stuck In LA Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

Popular Kenyan DJ Pierra Makena has finally jetted back in the country days after being stuck in LA amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Taking to Instagram, the Dj informed her fans that she will be in quarantine for 14 days in line with the government’s directive for travelers coming from abroad.

‘I’m in for 14 days quarantine. I’ll try guys posted. Be safe and keep others safe’ she wrote in her post

A few days ago, the DJ expressed her frustration online revealing that she was stranded for hours at the Los Angeles International Airport; LAX after her flight was canceled by the Turkish airlines.

Some reports have indicated that the flights were temporarily suspended over concerns of virus exposures to the staff after a trainee tested positive of COVID-19.

In her post, Pierra thanked her fellow Kenyans even those in Diaspora for constantly checking up on her and for their prayers.

“Thanks for the constant calls and all those who tried to help me secure a flight back home…God bless yaani! Diaspora thank you for all the call and offers you gave..even some who don’t know me..still called to check up just because I am Kenyan.” She stated

Apart from Pierra Makena, another celebrity who has expressed concern is Eddy Kenzo who is stuck abroad following the directive by the Ugandan government to suspend all flights after they reported the first coronavirus case.
