The 2017 party nominations continue to see hitherto considered giants being felled. In Mukurweini, Nyeri, fiery former UON student leader Kabando wa Kabando bit dust and his 9 year run as a parliamentarian is soon going to be over. Kabando, unlike many losers who start pointing fingers, took to his Facebook account to concede defeat, a move that has won the hearts of many.

Meanwhile in Kiharu, the youthful Ndindi Nyoro continues to build a a solid lead over his challengers.
