A popular Kenyan gospel artist identified as Dominic Maina has narrated how he got deported from America hours after he landed.
Maina who had travelled to America was set to minister in Boston after he received an invitation to attend a conference which was scheduled for the Easter Holiday.
His journey, however, faced backlash even before he left the county considering that his visa took long to be processed as a result of financial constraints.
Maina was however sorted after receiving help from a well-wisher and he was able to travel even though he was late.
After the long travel hours trouble ensued while he was being cleared at the airport which ended up in him being interrogated for hours.
According to Maina his invitation document indicated that he was to stay for 2 weeks yet his return ticket was valid for 3 months.
“My return ticket was taking 3 months before it expires while as my invitation letter was just giving me 2 weeks stay in America.
“I was investigated by nine police officers because they thought I was a criminal .”He stated
Despite giving an explanation, Maina says that his passport was cancelled and he was immediately sent back to Kenya an incident he describes as devastating.
Although he spent 6 hours in America he was grateful for having travelled a long distance on a plane which was his first time.
