A military store at the Department of Defence (DoD) headquarters in Nairobi was on Monday morning gutted down by a fire that broke out at 5.30am.
Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) spokesman Colonel David Obonyo confirmed the incident, saying no one was injured during the dawn fire.
Obonyo said the inferno could have been caused by an electric fault. The fire has since been put out, with property of unknown value having been destroyed.
