Fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger loves Kenyan singer STL’s music, uses it at the London Fashion Week

It has been a wild 2017 for singer Stella Mwangi.

From her songs “Set it Off” and “Get up and Go” featured on Gabrielle Union’s hit show Being Mary Jane 9 Season 4 which airs on BET, and  Morris Chesnut’s drama series, Rosewood Season 2, she’s now taking over runways.

The celebrated Kenyan- Norwegian artist’s song Get Up and Go has now officially started being used as promotional material for renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

The deal was first announced early this year but has come into play in the last half of the year. The song was recently used also used at the London Fashion Week recently.

“This whole year, my fans have been sending me messages congratulating my team about this Hollywood EP; but at the same time they’re quite pissed, saying that I have abandoned them somehow. Well, i just want you all to know that I’m still stl the queen of hip-hop and I’ve got some heated records lined up for you. I’m on to some other hustle real quick! Don’t worry; I’ll be back before you all know it. nawapenda woh!” she said.

STL’s self titled EP is still doing the rounds in Hollywood with her song “Work” proving to be the breakout hit.

Aside from being the official theme song in collaboration with Teyana Taylor, the new face of Reebok Classics,  for the “Free Your Style 2017” commercial, it’s also a great song to strut down a runway too, it seems!
